in my story Earth has been destroyed by pollution and the population of Earth has been moved to a new solar system. technology hasn’t advanced because the human population has had to start over. but my question is should i keep the name of places like countries and cities the same? Should i keep designers (Gucci etc.), restaurants (McDonald’s etc.), currencies and things like that the same or make them up?
